OESCA provides leadership, advocacy, professional learning, and support for the 51 educational service centers (ESCs) that serve Ohio schools, educators and students.

About OESCA 

What is an ESC?

  • ESCs support the State through efficient distribution of information and support for schools related to State initiatives.

  • ESCs support schools by providing professional development for educators, and services schools need. 

  • ESCs support students through direct services such as preschools, special needs classrooms, career exploration opportunities and other programs that serve students directly.

  • ESCs solve problems by developing offerings based on the unique needs of their client school districts and the State.
